Those of you who were attentive throughout the afternoon – yesterday night, will know that there was a lot of movement in relation to the issue that involves Microsoft, Activision Blizzard, Call of Duty and Sony. We are currently in a new process on the purchase where the protagonist is the CMA, who will decide on it. So while we wait, Microsoft has stressed again that Call of Duty will not be exclusive to Xbox or any company servicewhile Sony slipped up confirming agreements to make the version of Call of Duty on Xbox worse.
It is clear to us that Jim Ryan is turning a deaf ear, believing himself that Xbox could worsen the versions of Call of Duty on their consoles, raise the price of the titles or make them exclusive only to the Xbox Game Pass service, when they are already available. has confirmed that none of that will be the case. But Jim Ryan is still on his thirteenth, confirming that does not want Call of Duty deals, but wants to block Xbox’s purchase of Activision. So now we ask ourselves, Should Microsoft drop Sony’s Call of Duty after Jim Ryan’s statements?
Should Microsoft drop Sony’s Call of Duty after Jim Ryan’s statements?
Even with all the facilities that have been provided to Sony with a franchise that could easily be exclusive to Xbox, the denial has been a constant. It has not been worth making things easy, something that we know very well that the Japanese company would not do if the circumstances were reversed.

Not long ago we knew how Companies like Nintendo or Nvidia accepted contracts with Redmond for Call of Duty, something that from Sony they have never seen with good eyes and that it is difficult for us to understand. So after all the performance by Microsoft for Sony to have Call of Duty as it has been so far, I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea that as the acquisition closes the door should also be closed on Jim Ryan.
Sony is being very selfish, as no one has meddled with their purchases, but when a company has interested them, well they have turned on “defense at all costs” mode, as they are doing now with the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Sony. Microsoft, which will end up being a reality and with Sony out of the game as Microsoft does not twist its arm anymore. It’s a shame for the PlayStation gamers, but the Redmond ones can’t let themselves be run over like that. And you, do you think that Microsoft should leave Sony without Call of Duty?
