The martial arts game Sifu will arrive this March 28 on Xbox, taking just over a year to reach the Microsoft ecosystem since its original release. It was known that this game had an exclusive contract in favor of PlayStation consoles and, in the case of PC, the game would only appear on Epic Games.
The truth is that this exclusive contract did not last much more than a year, since the game came out on Nintendo Switch in November 2022. This means that the version for this hybrid console was more relevant than the rest. It was more relevant if we take into account the facilities of the hardware, as well as the wide market of the most modern Nintendo consoles and its target audience.
Sifu will arrive this March 28 on Xbox and Steam
French developer and publisher Sloclap released the game in February 2022, exclusively for PS4, PS5, and Epic Games. A port came out for Nintendo Switch in November, and finally, the famous beat’em up Coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S this March 28. It will also arrive on Steam that same day, where you can already add it to your wish list.
Also, the game will have a physical edition, although this will arrive shortly after, in April 2023. This will contain a Steelbook, a 48-page art book, 3 lithographs and the official soundtrack of the game. Fortunately, this so-called Revenge Edition does contain the game in its case.
The game will be released with the Arenas expansion, which will arrive as a free update for all available platforms. This new expansion will feature five game modes, such as Capture and Survival. We will also have 45 new challenges and nine locations to make this return to the game more enjoyable.
We know for sure that Sifu will arrive on Xbox on March 28, although the launch window was already known, located in the month of MarchThanks to the developer. And so, another console exclusive gradually ceases to be, and it is now that it ends up reaching all the relevant platforms of the moment.
