Skull & Bones has been aimlessly sailing since its announcement in 2018.
When Skull & Bones appeared at Ubisoft Forward 2023 earlier in the week to announce a new beta for this summerIt seemed that the waters had calmed down and Ubisoft’s pirate game was ready to weigh anchor, but it seems that it has once again encountered a rough sea. just three days later of the celebration of the event, the French company would have *jumped overboard PlayStation and Xbox versionsthe beta would finally only set sail on PC.
As we could see on Monday, apart from that new trailer accompanied by live music, Skull & Bones confirmed a closed beta from august 25 to 28 for consoles and PC. Although, currently, if we go to the game’s website, it only appears to register on PC.
Skull & Bones beta leaks
According to insider Tom Henderson (via InsiderGaming), several of the game’s playtesters would have confirmed that Skull & Bones beta will only be available on PC. We will see if there is any official information about it in the next few days, since so far there has been no news of the game from the Ubisoft Forward.
Henderson talks about how the game would have suffered important changes since the last time it was shown to the public and could be played in another closed beta, but we will still have to wait to see if there are really substantial changes. Although if this news is confirmed, PC gamers only could access that version before the release of the game, which is why there is no specific date.
For now, all that remains is to wait for the tide to go out and find out what will happen to that beta of Skull & Bones which this week accompanied other announcements from the French company such as Star Wars: Outlaws.
