The horror genre seems to live in a new golden age. After going through difficult times in other generations, the last few years of the genre have left us high-level titles, both by large companies, with the recent cases of Dead Space Remake, The Callisto Protocol or Resident Evil 4 Remake; as by other lesser-known studies, such as is the case of Protocol Games with its Song of Horror.
This Spanish studio released its first title a few years ago, and since then it has been able to gain a foothold within a genre that is often crushed for lack of originality, achieving great appreciation from the community. And now, thanks to Steam discounts, we can get hold of Song of Horror for a price of 11.99 euros on Steam, instead of the 29.99 euros that its PVP marks. So we can get it with a 60% discount until June 4.
For those unfamiliar, Song of Horror is a third-person horror adventure. It is a video game that draws a lot from experiences like the Amnesia or Outlast saga, where we will not have access to a weapon to fight against our enemies. The best of all? That the main enemy will learn from our way of behavingso we will not be able to repeat the same playable patterns over and over again.
After the disappearance of the writer Sebastian P. Husher and his family, his editor will try to do everything in his power to find him. The title offers the Possibility to play with up to 13 different characters, who have been given a different personality and history to each of them. In addition, we will be able to visit a wide variety of locations, making this game an immersive and truly varied horror experience.
Remember that you can subscribe to Amazon Prime so totally free for 30 days (later 49.90 euros per year).
