Starfield recently revealed its next expansion
Starfield was launched in September of last year as Bethesda's great promise to offer an epic space adventure which was also characterized by being the company's first new IP in years. The result at that time was an unparalleled success, since we have been able to see that the title has been one of the most played by Xbox and that, in addition, new updates have continued to be released with great acceptance. Now, it must be said that Starfield won't stay here.
This is because we know that Starfield will have a new paid expansion, which will be released this year and was also presented with its first trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase. However, it seems that this will not end here, since Todd Howard, director of the video game, revealed that There are plans to continue expanding the world of Starfield.
Shattered Space will not be the last paid Starfield expansion according to Todd Howard
This statement was given by the manager during a recent interview on the MrMattyPlays YouTube channel, pointing out that There are plans to continue updating Starfield for a second yearalthough it will not be at the same pace as that seen in these months in which we have been able to see that there has been one in May and another in June, but it will depend of the relevance of the new content and the work it requires.
Likewise, Howard has also confirmed that Shattered Space will not be the last paid expansion that Starfield will receive, since the study aims to release annual expansions, so it is quite likely that in the future we will see new announcements regarding Starfield. Of course, at no time has it mentioned any release date or name for this future content, so it is most likely that It will depend on the reception of Shattered Space.
For the rest, it only remains to remember that Starfield is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC at the same time as the Shattered Space expansion will be released this year.
