Storyteller, the puzzle and narrative game by Argentine Daniel Benmergui published by Annapurna, is now available on Steam and Switch. We tell you more details, here!
storyteller, Argentinian Daniel Benmergui’s award-winning game about building narratives and solving puzzles was released today for switches and pc via Steam. published by Annapurna Interactive, this is a puzzle game where players must find solutions to build their own stories. Thus, there will be situations of romance, betrayal, revenge and more in a variety of settings where players must change the order of characters or objects to give rise to new stories.
storyteller stands out for its beautiful animations and comic book-style storytelling that allows players to control the characters in the story to kill monsters and be heroes, destroy villages and be villains, separate or join lovers, and more. The idea is that with their mix of magic, tragedy, epic and their own lore, each player must build their own story that allows them to progress through its various levels.
One of the factors that makes special storyteller is that the way Benmergui programmed the game makes it possible to find original and unique solutions that were not in the programming. For example, it is not that each level is made to have a single solution, but rather that it checks that the parameter has been fulfilled. For example, if a monster attacks a knight and a princess and you give the sword to the princess, she will be the one to fight the monster to defend herself.
