In this last week, Capcom surprised us all with its Capcom Next, Summer 2024 event, in which we were presented with many new features, such as the announcement of the Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddessthe announcement of the development of a new Resident Evil and a rDead Rising Deluxe emaster using the RE Engine, a graphics engine so well known by this company.
Dead Rising will come to us all again in September thanks to this new remaster; however, not everything will remain the same as in the original release. Apart from the big changes visuals that we will find thanks to the use of this new graphic engine and accessibility adjustments and gameplaywe will find that the character's voice principal, Frank West, also switch towhich caught even the original voice actor by surprise.
The original voice actor speaks out about his absence
Terence Rotolothe original voice actor for main character Frank West, has responded for Twitter on the reason for his absence for this Dead Rising Delux Remaster later this year, to which Rotolo noted that I didn't have an answer for this fact and that the reasons should be from the producers themselves. However, he stated that he was calm about not returning to this new release.
