The new trailer for Assassin's Creed: Shadows takes us to Japan in the 16th century and demonstrates its powerful visuals
Already in its presentation of the Ubisoft Forward on the occasion of the Summer Game Fest, we could see that Ubisoft wanted to take advantage of the first Assassin's Creed developed for the current generation with its new graphics engine. But the most important thing is not the power of that engine, but how it is used. And on this occasion, in specific sequences of several locations selected in a very specific way, we can account for the new trailer for Assassin's Creed: Shadows of the setting, with the climatic variety, nature and characteristic architecture of this region.
And speaking of the setting and the different regions, one of the details that may encourage many users is that the map will not be as extensive as in other of its titles. It will not be excessive in this regard, being somewhat smaller than the one in Valhalla, and getting closer to the Assassin's Creed Origins map. Now, there will not be large desert expanses and there will be plenty of natural landscapes with rivers, bamboo forests and villages that exhibit a characteristic that Ubisoft wanted to highlight.
The result is truly spectacular, which allows us to intuit that the leap in this graphics engine is going to be very good for the game. A game that also introduces different mechanics by allowing the player to choose between “samurai”, Yasuke, or the ninja, Naoe. Two different ways of approaching the adventure, which can guarantee some replayability that the player may even have. more prominence in how you face your own adventure.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows will arrive on Xbox consoles on November 15 Series X|S, Playstation 5 and PC.
