An event to warm up to the PlayStation Showcase.
Every February, video game fans know that there will be a Nintendo Direct in the early days and a Pokémon Presents in the lastthereby giving rise to the fact that in between we have a State of Play as a tradition that, for a few years, has always been fulfilled and that has given rise to the three companies presenting their products for the short or medium term.
And under this same premise, knowing that the Nintendo event has already been and that the Pokémon event was announced yesterday, now it has been the turn of the rumored State of Play, of which it was said that it would be smaller and with minor games than many might expect. And although the latter has been confirmed to some extent, we have received new information about the content we will see during the broadcast.
The State of Play will show 16 new titles designed for PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 during the 45 minutes it lasts
In the first place, and to put it in context, it must be said that a State of Play on February 23which will be broadcast at 11:00 p.m. in Spain and with a time slot of 1:00 p.m. in the Pacific and 4:00 p.m. on the east coast, thereby giving rise to the tweet launched by PlayStation in social networks have confirmed that we will see a gameplay of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a title that will be released next May. In fact, they will dedicate more than 15 minutes to the game.

Now, Gematsu has been in charge of collecting new information, thus revealing that the Japanese blog has confirmed that the State of Play will last about 45 minutesof which a total of 16 PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games. It must be said that of these 16, 5 will correspond to the virtual reality peripheral, while of the 45 minutes, 15 will be for the Rocksteady title:

For the rest, we will have to see how the next State of Play ends up being, since nothing was expected from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 nor of other first party titles that according to rumors would leave for a Playstation Showcase in June. However, it will be necessary to see if something falls from Resident Evil 4 Remake and Final Fantasy XVI.
