PlayStation is very committed to bring their great sagas to other types of formatsso that licenses as important as Uncharted and The Last of Us have been adapted to film and televisionrespectively. However, these are not the only projects that the Japanese firm had in mind, as God of War series have also been officially announced on Amazon Prime Video and the Horizon saga on Netflix. However, The latter would be at risk of being cancelled.
At least that's what Rolling Stone claims, stating that Netflix reportedly canceled several projects Among them would be the series that would adapt the PlayStation's Horizon saga. “Rolling Stone has reported that Two of Umbrella Academy showrunner Steve Blackman's projects that were in development at Netflix, a Horizon Zero Dawn series and an original series called Orbital, will no longer be moving forward.“, quotes journalist Cheyenne Roundtree through her social networks.

So, it will be necessary wait for a confirmation from Netflix in this regard, since no information or reason is offered as to why the Horizon series would have been cancelled by the platform. If true, one of PlayStation's major projects would suffer a setback and it remains to be seen whether they would make the decision to adapt Aloy's adventures to another format or platform.
The Horizon saga would have several projects in development
With the confirmation of a third main installment of the Horizon saga by Guerrilla Games and the launch of LEGO Horizon Adventures this yearthe saga seems to be one of the great bastions of PlayStation at present. However, that would only be part of the beginning of a series of projects that continue to expand the universe of the franchise.
According to what was revealed a few months ago, the Horizon saga would have up to 6 different projects in development, including the two mentioned above. Regarding the other four titles, little is known, but there is talk of a remaster of the first installment and a title focused on multiplayer.
