A new version of the interactive horror game is out today on PlayStation 5 and PC Until Dawn. It is a complete remake from a new studio Ballistic Moonfounded by veterans Supermassive Games. On that occasion, Sony comes with a launch trailer.
A short video invites you to different situations in the game. It doesn't directly contain spoilers, although it hints at certain things that will happen in the story. Eight friends in a lonely cabin, where two of their friends disappeared a year ago, are facing a nightmare and a fight for their lives.
Some had already finished Until Dawn and were closely watching the closing credits. It is in them teaser for the sequel. It takes place several years after the original story in Los Angeles, where Sam's phone alarm rings at six in the morning. We see ghostly shadows and hear disturbing sounds. We see a bloody mark on her hand and something whispers her name.
So now the new version of Until Dawn starts to make sense. As we know, in Ballistic Moon, in addition to new graphics and animations, they modified and expanded the story. Then everything could fit into the planned film adaptations.
