There is no Elvish, Ent, Mordor, or Human word that can describe the wonders of the FromSoftware community. And to be more specific, of those people who do no-hit (complete the game without receiving hits) and speedruns (complete the game as quickly as possible). They have done it again…
Lies of P has not been released yet and it only has a demo available whose average duration is around an hour or an hour and a half (you can play without time limits), but it already has games of no-hit and speedrun that reduce the game to just fifteen minutes. The community is using the demo for training. A quick search on YouTube is enough to find dozens of videos.
YouTube content creator Esoterickk has uploaded several videos in which we can see him defeating the bosses in the demo without taking damage of any kind. The bosses in question are the Master of the Parade, the Mad Donkey, and the Discarded Vigilante.
And if the no-hit doesn’t seem incredible to you, wait because now the speedrunners enter the scene. Do you remember that the demo has a duration of an hour or an hour and a half? Well, this type of player, always in a hurry and looking for a way to do everything faster, have managed to reduce time to 15 minutes approximately. LilAggy VODs pulls it off in 16 minutes and 58 seconds.
Lies of P will go on sale on September 19, 2023 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X /S and Xbox One, and we know that it will be available on Microsoft’s Game Pass service from day one. The no-hitters and speedrunners will arrive trained and with their homework done. How long will they take to complete it under your rules?
