Year after year, one of the classics of the video game world is the Return of the EA Sports FC sagaformerly known as FIFA. Sports franchises have always subscribed to the annual release and the North American company's is no exception. Updating rosters, teams, kits and competitions is the basis, but also the addition of new features. But will they be enough this time?

At the time of writing, EA Sports FC 25 has a average grade of 75 in Metacritic with 14 reviews included (in its PlayStation 5 version, the one with the most reviews right now). It is exactly the same grade that FC 24 got last year, although this game has many more reviews, so the new installment of the football simulation franchise could still lose some additional points.
Although the series has been steadily losing its average rating since FIFA 22's 78, FC 25 is not the franchise's bottom line. FIFA 21 was left with a poor 71 EA Sports FC 25 is coming out a few years ago. However, despite the fact that analysts point out that it is one of the most recent episodes of the series with the greatest number of new features, they also emphasize that the lack of competition is causing EA Sports to relax to the point that it is difficult to recommend buying the game if you already have the previous one.
