This new power of Thor makes him very similar to this DC hero.
It is well known that Thor Odinson, also known as the God of Thunderis one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe, also considered even one of the strongest.
This hero owns a rather characteristic hammer, called Mjolnirwhich gives him the vast majority of his abilities and powers, such as the manipulation of electricity.
In a recent comic, Thor has acquired a new power that makes him very much like a DC character.. Next, we will tell you all the details about it, but you should keep in mind that this post contains spoilers for volume #30 of the comic Thorfrom Marvel.
Thor becomes this DC hero because of his powers
Marvel fans well know that Thor, the God of Thunder, consists of several abilities which he has acquired thanks to his hammer, Mjolnir, which endows him with multiple powers that make it easier for him to kill the bad guys.
In a recent Marvel comic, Thor has obtained a new and characteristic power which turns out to be quite similar to an ability possessed by a hero belonging to the DC company (Detective Comics).
In volume #30 of the comic Thorfrom Marvel, Thor, in conjunction with Runa, enters a mystical and mysterious cave who finds himself in a forbidden wasteland, discovering that this cave has been affected by chaotic magic.
Being there, eventually they meet the evil Corvus Glaive, who has been responsible for Thor’s younger sister, Laussa. Thor, enraged, decides to use his lightning powers against the supervillain.
When Thor puts his powers into action against Glaivethe electricity that the God of Thunder transmits begins to take a rather strange shape, much like the shape of a specific animal.
These “waves” of electricity that Thor emits are sent towards Corvus Glaive with the aim of attacking him, taking the form of wolves. Once they take this form, this power of Thor becomes very similar to what Green Lantern does with his power ring.
This new power that Thor has managed to execute thanks to Mjolnir turns out to be extremely similar to the power that the DC hero has, known as Green Lantern or Green Lantern in Spanish.
What Green Lantern does, they’re kind of “constructions” that arise from your ringcalled a “ring of power”, allowing him to create all kinds of objects and animals just using his amazing gadget.
The wolves created by Thor’s Mjolnir seem to be more than just lightning, appearing to have a life of their own, and letting it be seen that chaotic magic inside the forbidden realm affects Thor’s powers in a certain way.
Thor’s lightning bolts appear to be stronger than ever, leaving Thor stunned, as when Runa asks him how he activated that power.Thor simply answers “I don’t know. I didn’t”.
The wolves that Thor has sent at Corvus end up killing him, apparently pulling his soul out of his body. This allows Runa to suggest that chaotic magic is affecting Thor’s powers as you use them.
While Runa wants to leaveThor continues to try to find out what his grandfather, Bor, has been keeping from him.
This volume of the comic shows a new power of Thor never seen beforeand which turns out to be quite similar to the powers possessed by the well-known DC superhero, Green Lantern.
