- Warning: Spoilers for episode 2×03 of House of the Dragon
Any Game of Thrones fan who has seen Episode 2×03 of House of the Dragon has surely jumped out of their chair or armchair at some point, specifically at minute 34 of the episode. What is supposed to be so important? At that moment, we see four dragon eggs and we all think of Game of Thrones, but… did we do it right?
In the scene we see that Rhaenyra sends Rhaena with her children, a chest with four eggs (silver, gold, green and red) and the dragons Tyraxes and Tempest with Lady Jeyne Arryn. Well, three of the four eggs were too familiar to us: they looked like the children of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones.
What started as speculation and theories has become an official nod after the episode's director, Geeta Vasant Patel, confirmed to Mashable that those three eggs (golden, green and red) are indeed the eggs that years later (200, specifically) Daenerys would receive as a gift during her wedding with Khal Drogo.

“Those are Daenerys' eggs,” Patel confirmed. “Everyone working on this show is a huge Game of Thrones fan, so it was really exciting to shoot that scene.” In any case, the silver egg remains a mystery that may be resolved in future episodes. In any case, this presents a new divergence between the show and the books. While it's not a big one, it's still a change.
