Turkey officially blocked access to Roblox and all related applications. The decision was announced by Turkish Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç via the X Network.
The decision was made on the basis of an investigation led by the High Prosecutor's Office in Adana due to content that could lead to child abuse.
“Attempts to undermine our social fabric, abuse children, promote violence and activities that will negatively affect the development of our children, each of whom is a precious gift, will never be allowed,” Tunç said in a statement.
In response to the ban, creators from Roblox Corporation announced that they respect the laws and regulations in the countries where they operate and will cooperate with local authorities to be back online as soon as possible.
