Ubisoft unexpectedly canceled a presentation planned for the framework Tokyo Game Show 2024. According to journalists, the French company also canceled the opportunity for journalists to play at the upcoming fair Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Ubisoft had planned the live stream for September 26. The publisher justified the cancellation of the event with various circumstances. We did not learn the details. Gamers and journalists are leaning towards the fact that the cancellation was due to the cold reception of Assassin's Creed Shadows in Japan. Others are speculating about a postponement of the game from November/November to 2025.
