Like Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony, the French company dropped out of the event and will not be at E3 either. In this note all the details.
Despite having announced just a couple of weeks ago that they would be present within the great event of the video game industry, Ubisoft finally decided to pull out of E3 and announced that they will be doing a Ubisoft Forward instead.
Specifically, according to a statement sent to the Video Games Chronicle portalUbisoft announced that it will withdraw from E3, to be held between June 13 and 15, to carry out their own Ubisoft Forward Live, which will take place on the 12th of that same month, that is, one day before. These were the words of the company:
“E3 fostered unforgettable moments in the industry over the years […] While we initially intended to have an official presence at E3, we made the decision to move in a different direction and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12 in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.” reports the statement.
Now, with this news, the real unknown lies in Which will be the companies that finally attend the event?, since less than three months after its start, there is still no news or announcements about which developers will be present. In any case, we hope that several companies will be encouraged to participate in E3 2023, since it is one of the most important events in the video game industry and a great opportunity to show news and upcoming releases to fans in one place.
It will certainly be interesting to see how the situation develops in the coming months and which companies ultimately decide to attend.
