There would already be about 10 Assassin’s Creed games that Ubisoft has in development.
Despite the fact that Ubisoft continues to cancel projects, it seems that the only games that are saved from burning inside the French offices are those of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, because apart from the already extensive list of games that we know of, there would be what to add four new games in the Assassin’s Creded series yet to be announced.
As far as we know so far, Ubisoft works on both game as a service Assassin’s Creed Infinityas in two projects known as Assassin’s Creed Hexe and Assassin’s Creed Red (set in Japan), Assassins Creed Mirage, which will arrive this year, and a last title known as Assassin’s Creed Jade which will be set in China and will soon be available on mobile devices.
New Assassin’s Creed games to be announced soon
The leak, as usual in the case of Ubisoft, comes from Tom Henderson through Insider Gaming. The leaker claims to have found four new Assassin’s Creed games that would be in conceptual and prototype development phase within Ubisoft. Three of them would respond to Assassin’s Creed Nebula, Raid and Echoes, each one developed by different studios and with different proposals at a playable and visual level, although they have not even been announced at the moment. The fourth game would be about Assassin’s Creed Nexus, a VR game. “They are betting on AC and some other big franchises,” a source said.
According to Henderson, Ubisoft Sofia, known for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and Assassin’s Creed Rogue, is in charge of Project Nebula, which It would have three different scenarios; India, Aztec Empire and Mediterranean. Ubisoft Chengd, responsible for Project Raid, would be doing a free cooperative game for 4 players of PvE cut. “It is believed that the title characters will all be from the Assassin’s Creed universe,” adds Henderson.
As for the Echoes project, it would be the work of Ubisoft Annecy, known for developing the multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell, and the joint development of The Division 2. It would be “a multiplayer game that will use Ubisoft Scalar technology“.

Assassin’s Creed Red would do so in 2024, Assassin’s Creed Invictus in 2025, and Assassin’s Creed Hexe in 2026.
To put the icing on the cake, ensure that new information about Assassin’s Creed Redthe game set in feudal Japan, point out that it would have two playable characters and a new stealth system. It would be a new “twist” to the series, says the leaker.
