Lists of games that we should see at night appear on the Internet from well-known “leakers”. State of Play by PlayStation. Sony previously revealed that it will be showing 14 PS5 and PS2 VR titles from its partners around the world. Plus games from PlayStation Studioswhich will be published by the end of this year.
What can we look forward to? If you want to be surprised, read on. For the rest: The famous Nick Baker lists Where Winds Meet, Until Dawn, Astro Bot, Monster Hunter Wilds, God of War Ragnarok on PC, Concord, and Aliens VR, which will likely be Alien: Rogue Incursion.
Spanish leaker De Proximidad adds to these games the console version of Marvel Rivals, a new Five Nights At Freddy's, a new Dynasty Warriors, Path of Exile 2, Silent Hill 2, Phantom Blade Zero, a new Middle Eastern game and some new VR game.
Interestingly, neither list features the previously speculated LEGO Horizon. Perhaps the brick form of Horizon has been delayed and will not appear until the Summer Game Fest in June, or at the PlayStation Showcase, which will probably take place in September. Or it will turn out not to be a game after all.
What do you expect from State of Play? The presentation takes place from Thursday to Friday at midnight. One in the morning follows Silent Hill Transmissionwhere Silent Hill 2 Remake is to be shown (it will be released on PS5 and PC).
By the way, Astro Bot has become the main face of a PlayStation ad linked to Saturday's Champions League final at Wembley, as spotted by Tom Warren in London. PlayStation is a long-standing partner of the Champions League. We regularly see PS5 logos in stadiums and in TV commercials.
