During the afternoon of yesterday, Microsoft announced the launch date of Starfield, which we hope will be final, for September 6. As a result, those of Phil Spencer took the opportunity to confirm the day that the Bethesda game presentation event will take place, Starfield Directalong with a new Xbox Games Showcase with E3 2023 on the billboard.
Both events can be followed on sunday june 11 with times yet to be determined. What we do know is that the general game presentation will take place first, followed by that of the long-awaited science fiction role-playing game by its managers in Bethesda. Based on this, besides Starfield, what other games could we see? We review them below.
The most anticipated games from the Xbox Games Showcase
Looking back to last year’s Xbox Games Showcase, for an hour and a half Microsoft was completely focused on the new Xbox games coming in the next 12 months, even though Starfield has already been left out of that. window and the release date of Forza Motorsportwhich will have its space at the event.
It is also interesting to see if the Xbox team will do the same this year, since there are large Xbox Game Studios studios that have not yet officially shown what they are working on, as is the case with The Coalition with the sixth numbered installment of Gears of Warof which we could perhaps see a teaser, or the new Fable from Playground Games and the highly anticipated Hellblade 2.

Other previously announced titles that we hope to receive updates on soon, are Avowed or Perfect Dark, plus the ever-present indie games and some companies third party that would also have a place within the Xbox Games Showcase. On the other hand, if the purchase of Activision is completed, we could have news about their IP’s.
What is clear is that Starfield will not have screen time during the general game presentation, given that the Starfield Direct straight from the developers will give us a broader look at the game below.
