We’ve already told you a lot about Hogwarts Legacy: from plants and ingredients to brooms, and more! This guide does not reveal great secrets, but it can be really useful if you are looking for get better at magical combat I complete the Field Guide. I tell you everything you need to know about the Battle Arenas.
Hogwarts Legacy Battle Arenas
Unlike collectibles, Hogwarts Legacy Battle Arenas they can be found and activated without needing to find their corresponding quest. If you want to do things in order, you must go to a small village located to the northern Feldcroft Region (west of the map). It’s easy to find, since it’s in the “corridor” you enter if you’re coming from the north side of the map.
In said village you can talk to a lady who sends you to the first Battle Arena so you can investigate it and tell her what exactly it is. The mission has no more significance than teaching you that these arenas exist.
There is a total of 3 Battle Arenas: two normal and one exclusive to the Dark Arts DLC. The two normals are found in the south of the Feldcroft Region and in the swampy area to the north of the map. They have no loss. The Arena of Dark Arts is located south of the Forbidden Forest. If you don’t have the DLC, you can’t access it.

It is important to note that in the Arena of the Dark Arts you will have a predefined spell selection: Confringo, Avada Kedavra, Crucio and Empire. In other words, forbidden and unforgivable magic.
And what are the Battle Arenas? They have no mystery: destroy all the vases around and the golden statue will open its arms, interact and you will enter a horde combat arena. Survive the few rounds there are and you’re done. When you complete them, you get the Ashwinders Outfit and thief coat in normal arenas and the Duelist Mask in the Dark Arts arena.
If you’re looking to get better at magical dueling and/or completing Field Guide Challenges, specifically combat-focused ones, then Battle Arenas are your best friends:
- They have the majority of enemies you must defeat to complete the different phases of the challenges (does not include Infamous Rivals and Dugbogs, for example)
- You are allowed complete Duel Feats quickly and without having to look for enemies. In the last phase you must do a total of 42 feats… and I remind you that these challenges are not cumulative. Each phase has a total number of actions.
