The number of fighters there will be in Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero is surreal. The heir and at the same time the fourth installment of the Budokai Tenkaichi saga continues to add iconic characters, settings and attacks at a pace unsustainable for any other fighting game, but what is truly significant is how all the Dragon Ball heroes and villains look on screen: Bandai Namco has unleashed a new thematic trailer and the way it captures the rhythm and explosiveness of the anime's combat is impeccable, even when covering eras as different as Attack of the Saiyans or the Tournament of Power.
During the context of Gamescom Latam, Bandai Namco reserved a golden minute to formally present fighters already seen in previous trailers, iconic settings and confirm several characters that will give color and variety to Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero. In fact, the most significant thing is that, unlike other games in the franchise, their combat styles and the way they perform in the game are different. Some use knives or firearms, others, like Mr. Satan, cannot fly and others, like the android Anilaza, are of colossal size. The result? A whole festival of fanservice.
Have Goku, Trunks and Vegetto been shown again? Technically yes, although for practical purposes they are fighters with their own attacks and styles: Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Super is different from the one we saw in the Androids saga or the boy who fuses with Goten. And the same applies to a Super Vegetto whose transformation into a Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball Z and the attacks he used against Super Bú do not catch us by surprise, but it is always nice to see.
In any case, at VidaExtra we have prepared a table in which you can easily find out who is who, whether you don't remember the original series, or if the tremendous Tournament of Power between all the Universes is something that you have yet to see. .

With the above established, it is time to take a photo of how the panel of fighters looks with these additions, some predictable, others unexpected and in several cases, catching up with what we were able to see not so long ago. The most incredible thing of all? Although dozens of characters have been announced, there are still an awful lot of empty spaces. In fact, there is still room for Vegeta's Ultraego transformation unseen on television.

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero will go on sale next October 11 on PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC on the eve of the 40th anniversary celebration of Dragon Ball. Pre-orders for the game include the immediate unlocking of six characters (including Gogeta and Broly from Dragon Ball Super: Broly), but it doesn't end there: Bandai Namco's first Fighter Pass will add 20 more characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Dragon Ball GT and even Dragon Ball Daima. Playing at least one game with each hero or villain in the game is going to be quite a challenge!
