World of Warships, the popular online naval combat game, announced the arrival of a new fleet of Pan American cruisers to its extensive arsenal of warships. Here we tell you exactly what they are!
warming, developer of Warld of Warships, announced today that starting March 30, 2023, ten new Pan American light cruisers will be coming to the PC version of the free-to-play game. These include three Argentinian models, two Mexican and Colombian models, and one Peruvian, Brazilian and Chilean, for what will be the largest Latin American cruise inclusion in the title’s history.
Specifically, as they are light cruisers, they will have a rate of fire and torpedoes of moderate power, since its most striking abilities will be those related to stealth, which will allow players to bet on fast positioning strategies or even fast escapes.
Specifically, these will be the ten light cruisers that will represent Latin America in World of Warships:
- Level I, Hercules – Argentina
- Level II, Admiral Barroso – Brazil
- Level III, Vicente Guerrero – Mexico
- Level IV, Córdoba – Colombia
- Level V, Argentina – Argentina
- Level VI, Admiral Cochrane – Chile
- Level VII, Colonel Bolognesi – Peru
- Level VIII, Ignacio Allende – Mexico
- Level IX, Santander – Colombia
- Level X, San Martin- Argentina
Of these ten cruises, It is important to note that four of them are about historical ships, existing in real life. In the first place, the “Hércules” and “La Argentina” are two Argentine cruise ships built in the United States and Great Britain respectively. On the other hand, the armored cruiser “Almirante Barroso” belonged to the Brazilian navy between 1896 and 1931, and finally, the Peruvian ship “Coronel Bolognesi” served the Brazilian navy between 1960 and 1985.
As for the rest of the ships, they are fictitious cruise ships created by the developeralthough based in most cases on existing ships or that were designed and then discarded.
