He Xbox Game Showcase It left a fantastic taste in the mouths of fans of the brand. It is no wonder, since more was shown about the first-party titles that will arrive this year (Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6), but there was also talk of other highly anticipated ones such as Fable, Perfect Dark and it was even announced Gears of War E-Daywhich left fans of the saga salivating.
However, despite the great material that was there during the event, that is not all that Xbox Game Studios has on its hands. In that sense, today we want to talk to you about all the first-party games already announced that were not in the Xbox Showcase and that show that Xbox has a very promising future ahead.
All the first-party games already announced that were not in the Xbox Showcase
Without further ado, below we talk about the other Xbox Game Studios projects that were not yet shown at last week's Xbox event, but that aim to give us a lot of fun in the future:
Everwild (Rare)
The creators of Sea of Thieves have another multiplayer project underway that would immerse us fully in a very colorful fantasy world. Although we haven't heard from him for a while, we still really want him.
The Outer Worlds 2 (Obsidian)
Obsidian is focused on Avowed, that's clear, but we must not forget that the sequel to The Outer Worlds was announced a few years ago. Science fiction, role-playing and space. What more could you want.
Clockwork Revolution (inXile Entertainment)
inXile is going to change gears with respect to its classic Wasteland saga. For now we have only seen a trailer for Clockwork Revolution, but that aspect reminiscent of BioShock Infinite already makes us imagine the best.
OD (Kojima Productions)
Having Kojima develop an exclusive game (or experience) for your brand is always a positive. We still know relatively little about OD, but it will feature renowned actors and is intended to be a most terrifying experience.
Contraband (Avalanche Studios)
The latest rumors suggest that Contraband has been delayed, but if there's one thing we can expect from the creators of Just Cause, it's unbridled fun. Contraband was defined as a cooperative set in an open world in which we must collaborate to rob banks and other establishments.
Project Mara (Ninja Theory)
Now that the British studio has already released the long-awaited Sanua's Saga: Hellblade 2, it is time for Project Mara to enter full production. It will be a horror video game about which we have little information.
Marvel's Blade (Arkane Studios)
Arkane Lyon (the only section of the company that remains after the closure of Austin) is collaborating with Marvel on a Blade video game in the purest style of Dishonored or Deathloop, an immersive sim as only Arkane can do.
The Elder Scrolls VI (Bethesda)
Let's not kid ourselves, it's quite likely that there will be years left until we can see The Elder Scrolls VI, but an RPG of this caliber from Bethesda is always a highly anticipated project. We will wait patiently.
It was one of the protagonists of the Xbox Games Showcase, and now you can play its demo for a limited time: Flintlock

As you can see, it is a very varied list with very suggestive names, both belonging to existing franchises and other new licenses that want to make a splash. There is still a long way to go before we can enjoy them, but luckily Xbox has 2024 and 2025 very well covered.
