Link's most characteristic weapon in The Legend of Zelda has always been the Master Sword. It is one of the most emblematic and iconic of the entire series that is used to destroy enemies and final bosses, although the hero of the saga always you have others at your disposalsuch as the bow, the hook launcher, the boomerang and many others that have been paraded throughout the numerous installments that have been published.
Still, it could be said that there is no sword as powerful as the Master Sword. However, in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past there was one that had the same power and could even be used to defeat some final bosses. However, it is the most unusual of all and the one that no one would ever think of, as is the fly catcher.
Also known as the butterfly trap or the net, its main purpose is to capture flies or fairies to keep them in empty bottles, nothing more. However, one of the secrets of the game is that during the fight against Agahnim it can be used just like the sword to repel the spells that this villain casts and thus return them to him to finish him off.
In the video below these lines you can take a look at the result. To achieve this trick great precision is required so that the part of the net hit the spell of Agahnim at the exact moment and thus return it to him, causing him damage in the same way as would be done with the Master Sword, which shows that the fly catcher is not as harmless as it seems.
There is no doubt that the sword is still the most recommended method and with which this fight becomes even easier. Even so, if you decide to play this great Super Nintendo classic, don't hesitate to put it into practice to at least play in a way that escapes the usual.
