Hogwarts Legacy puzzles are usually not very complicated, but there are some that have brought many players to their heads. An example are the magical chess that are scattered around some caves. Another, for example, is the one that concerns us in this guide: the musical puzzle of the mission “Fixed by the Bell“, which is actually a treasure map.
The “Solved by the Bell” Treasure Map, which gives you the key to solving it, at the end of the “Henrietta Hideout” dungeon in the Poidsear Castle. The side quest “The Hippogriff Points Out the Location” takes you to the location. Loot all the chests at the end of the dungeon to find the Treasure Map.
Once in your possession, clagmar castle, take out all the enemies (including the Infamous Enemy, which counts towards the Field Guide) and then go to the bells that you see on one of the sides. If you know how to read and interpret a staff, this puzzle is done with your eyes closed. If you don’t know, I’ll explain it to you and I’ll also give you the solution.
As you can see, the bells on the right are hanging from an iron bar, resting in the gap between the bars. The bells on the left are supported by a thinner metal bar, and lie just in front of the iron bars. You must imagine that the bells on the left are the notes ABOUT the lines and the bells on the left are the notes BETWEEN the lines.
Now that you understand how it works, it shouldn’t be complicated. If you still resist or you don’t want to eat your head, the solution is simple. Using the following image as a reference, follow the sequence:
When you finish, you will hear a very familiar melody. Yes, they are the first notes of the Harry Potter main theme. Another little tribute to the saga of books and movies. Also, a chest will appear to your left. If you have gone complete with one of the coolest garments in all of Hogwarts Legacy: the Treasure Hunter’s Long Coat.
