One of the most exciting partnerships we’ll have in the coming months for Magic is the collaboration with Tolkien’s enormous work. The Lord of the Rings: Tales from Middle-earth It will allow us to enjoy a themed collection that will include a unique letter that will cost a real fortune.
Wizards of the Coast has worked with members of Middle-earth Enterprises to shape a project that will offer an updated version of the representation presented in the books. The company seeks to combine a sense of familiarity with the general aesthetic of the world, but without falling into repetition or feeling dated. “Some characters will have different aspects than some previous representations and this is something we did on purpose,” they explain from the company.
