Things never seem to get better for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. As if the war in Ukraine wasn’t enough for its developers, GSC Game Worlda hack at the beginning of March set off the alarms of the company and the fan community.
A group of Russian hackers got hold of a lot of information and threatened to leak it, but GSC Game World He made it clear that they were not going to give in, asked for help from the community and warned that spoilers could leak at any time. And obviously the matter has gotten worse: the group of hackers has revealed how much information it has managed to appropriate.

GSC Game World admit that it was a mistake, but that the encryption of the files prevents these versions from being executed.
The point is that the Gadgadget medium does not think the same as the company, since they affirm that some content (screenshots) has been found that suggests that hackers have been able to run a development version from STALKER 2. If this is true, Reddit and social networks like Twitter, Instagram and TikTok could be full of spoilers in the coming days.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl it could be released in late 2023 and early 2024 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. We do not know if it will be present at the next Xbox Games Showcase 2023, although it should be present as one of the company’s exclusive titles.
