Everything we know about Assassin’s Creed Mirage
we are xbox.com
- The Basim from Valhalla and the Basim from Assassin’s Creed Mirage are two very different characters. He is very young when we start the game and he is going to evolve into something else. Mirage’s character is unique and very different.
- There will be practically no present in the game. There is an introduction to the game where modern days are set to understand a bit of everything, since we will be in the Animus, obviously.
- The narrative and gameplay in general are closer to the early Assassin’s Creed games. That means it’s more compact, which has also led to the game coming out at a reduced price.
- There will be no game modes or strange things that we could see in Valhalla, for example. Just the story of Basim and Baghdad.
- The relationship between Basim and his eagle Enkidu is important.
- As in all AC games, if you cross the limits or kill too many people in a safe area, we can get out of sync, since the Animus is there.
- The story will have a specific ending because Basim’s evolution is very specific and has to lead to the other Assassin’s Creed, especially Valhalla. That’s why there are no character choices either.
- Like the Animus, the Isu are very important to Assassin’s Creed lore, so they’re always there somewhere. Therefore, there will be new items related to the Isu.
- Regarding collectibles, there will be world events similar to other titles, where things will arise in the city that were not planned. There will also be side missions, assassination missions, robbery and much more. Anything that was created as secondary content is meant to support Basim’s evolution, so it will be tied to the narrative in one way or another.
- Each member of the hidden that we kill will increase Basim’s rank, something very important that will take Basim from being an assassin to becoming a master.
- Each member of the Hidden Ones we can kill as we want and when we want, without following an established order as in other games, and regardless of progress.
- Each classic tool, be it throwing knives or smoke bombs, for example, we will unlock as we like as we finish off a main objective and return to the office to inform the Rafiq.
- The duration of Mirage will be very similar to that of the first Assassin’s Creed, with about 15/20 hours for the main story, about 30 hours at most adding secondary ones, and the complete game approaching 40 hours. Everything can vary depending on the person and the style of play.
- There will be many outfits for Basim, customizable. Some outfits will be unlocked by completing treasures, objectives, and more. We will also have iconic costumes like Altaïr’s, something typical of the franchise.
