Let’s be honest. The customization of the Xbox interface is not among the virtues of Microsoft consoles. Although Phil Spencer’s are adjusting the management of the menu, largely thanks to the feedback and demands of the community, the truth is that there are still many fringes to polish.
With the arrival of Xbox Series X | S, the dynamic backgrounds and we have received (by drops) some of them, which may have been liked more or less. Today we can install a new one that has been uploaded on the occasion of the launch of the Dead Space remake, of which you can already read our analysis.
Larry Hryb, well known by the community, has been in charge of showing it on Twitter:

Dead Space New Dynamic Background Details
We have previously received other backgrounds from Halo Infinite, Fallout, State of Decay 2, Pentiment or Wasteland 3, but this is the first time that Microsoft has added a new dynamic background without it belonging to Xbox Game Studios intellectual property.
The dead space planet is the central axis of this new dynamic background for Xbox Series X | S. Once installed we can see a spatial image with the flashes of some stars and little else. It soberly represents the magnitude of space and said planet, but it fails to stand out too much. Still, I’m sure Dead Space fans will appreciate it.
With this new dynamic background for Xbox Series X|S, it is once again clear that Microsoft needs an update to its interface that allows a greater flexibility in customization. It does not do much good to put the image of a favorite video game or a dynamic background, if it is going to be overshadowed by the icons of the console.
To install the background you just have to go to Settings > Personalization > My background > dynamic backgrounds and select the one you like best.
