After separation Toys for Bob since Activision Blizzard, fans have come to terms with the studio saying goodbye to brands Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, which he successfully brought back to life. But as it seems, at least the purple dragon will live on.
Canadian YouTuber Guy Eh, who is a known Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon insider, said in a new video that he heard something interesting from several sources at PAX East. At Toys for Bob, they are to work on Spyro's new adventure.
“Spyro 4 is in development. That's a statement. No theorizing, no conjecture, no conspiracy theories or even heavy-handed innuendo,” the YouTuber said in a video after talking to multiple sources at PAX East.
Spyro 4 is supposed to be in development from January this year. If this is true, the project is at the very beginning and it will be a long time before the creators start talking about it. But it goes hand in hand with the information that the authors have found common ground with Microsoft, which will support them in the development of a new game. This is similar to what Toys for Bob did before.
