A job offer leaks information about one of the next Pokémon projects, which would be released on the successor to Nintendo Switch.
With Pokemon Scarlet and Purple just around the corner, it’s no wonder Game Freak is already thinking about the next move in the franchise. At the moment, the company continues with the promotion of deliveries that land on Nintendo Switch next November 18th and recently Gimmighoul has been introduced, the ghost-type Pokémon that has also made its appearance in Pokémon GO. However, it seems that the development team already thinks beyond and through a job offer it has been known that they are already preparing a new delivery.
However, the particularity of this new project is that, as mentioned in the job offer, is being developed for the next Nintendo console. Specifically, it is mentioned that a project is underway in “new generation hardware”, so everything indicates that it will be the successor to Nintendo Switch. Of course, that does not mean that the new console of the great N is going to be launched in a short time, since it may be a project that reaches beyond 2023. Game Freak seeks, in particular, a 3D CG modeler refers to the “research and development of other new generation hardware”.
