Kojima Productions has been in the sights of fans throughout this year, due to various rumors that appeared about the next projects that the studio would be preparing for the future. It was already confirmed on the one hand that Death Stranding 2 is in development, but now Kojima has been revealed to be working on an unannounced brand new game, due to be revealed in 2023 and that it can be many options.
Through his official Twitter account, Hideo Kojima posted a video on the occasion of the celebration of the seventh anniversary of Kojima Productions. In this video, in addition to thanking the fans for their support and showing off Kojima’s new offices which look downright amazing, it was revealed that the studio is working on a new game, but that information about it will be revealed in 2023.
Kojima detailed the following (translated): “In addition to Death Stranding 2, we are also preparing a completely new game, as well as some visual projects. I look forward to bringing you more information on all of this next year.” Let’s remember that some time ago, Kojima confirmed that he is working on a cloud-native game exclusively for Xbox. This Microsoft association led to some leaks, which will supposedly be the horror title Overdose. It is not known if it will be about this game or another in particular, but the future looks as big as it is uncertain.
Undoubtedly, incredible news for all the fans and lovers of the games of Kojima, since the studio is preparing a lot of things for 2023 and the next few years. Of course, up to now, there is no official confirmation about the new title, so we will have to wait patiently for 2023, a year particularly full of new playable proposals.
