Life by You is the new rival of the Sims, a bet that was long in coming. The Electronic Arts simulator game was at his ease with no one to cough on him, without rivals that forced him to innovate or pushed him to risk. Now, the main person in charge of the development, with experience gained working on The Sims, will create a rival to match.
We talk about Rod Humble, who worked for many years at Electronic Arts and served as an executive producer since 2004. He was also CEO of Linden Lab for about three years, who were responsible for creating Second Life, a very unique and controversial virtual world. A few years ago he joined Paradox, and this is the product of his work.
Life by You is the new rival of the Sims, to combat the scarce offer of this genre
In the last Paradox event, where they presented many of their star releases (where the most acclaimed was Cities Skylines 2) they made an honorable mention of a video game, whose presentation would be made in later days. The day has come, and now we know that the new project Life by You is the new rival of the Sims. Fortunately, within Paradox they know how to do things right, and this announcement won’t be too far of its release date.
we can play Life by You this September 12, although this release is limited to PC, on Steam and the Epic Games Store. This may be due to the fact that the game will arrive in early access form, evolving as players discover what the main flaws in the game are. Let’s just hope that the experience doesn’t get so tarnished from the start, and that if it does, Paradox deigns to make amends quickly.
