Halo Infinite seems to be underperforming, however, a number of rumors have recently surfaced suggesting that 343 Industries would stop taking care of Halo from now on, putting the franchise’s continuity in doubt. Although these rumors have already been denied, now it has been Phil Spencer himself who has confirmed the continuity of the star saga of Xbox.
Spencer’s statements have been clear, Microsoft will continue to support Halo as long as Xbox exists, as he clarified in an interview with IGN. As explained by the head of Xbox, 343 Industries has plans to continue adding content to Halo Infinite “part of it announced, part of it rumored”, so this should put an end to the rumors that suggested otherwise. Everything indicates that Microsoft will continue to bet on what has been the “face” of Xbox since the release of the first console, back in 2001.
