Thus, The Xbox Series X console and the Xbox Game Pass subscription service will increase their price this summer in a large number of countries, including European ones along with the United States, Japan, Chile, Brazil or Colombia.
“We have maintained our prices for consoles for many years and we have adjusted them to reflect the competitive conditions of each market”, revealed Kari Pérez, director of communications for Xbox, before Microsoft itself made the news official.
The recommended retail price of Xbox Series X will become € 549.99 on August 1 in Spain and the rest of the European markets, which means an increase of 50 euros in its price, as happened with PS5 almost a year ago. In the case of Xbox Series S, the company is committed to maintaining its price, although the black model will be more expensive.
