The launch has caught us by surprise.
It seems that Nintendo has taken a liking to making announcements during these first weeks of the new fiscal year, so if yesterday we had on the one hand the announcement of a new Indie World in which many expect to see something new from Hollow Knight Silksong, as well as the fact that we have been able to know the content of the new Nintendo Switch update, now it is the turn of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and its expansion pass.
And it is that since last June we already knew that the third numbered installment of the popular JRPG from Monolith Soft and Nintendo was going to have an expansion pass, so, repeating what was seen with Torna, the last part of this would tell us a new story that would expand the lore of the franchise, so we could see the teaser of this in the Nintendo Direct of February of this year in which we were only told that it would be released before the end of 2023.
The new expansion of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be released on April 25
Neither short nor lazy, it seems that Nintendo has kept its word, although perhaps sooner than expected, since, without giving the slightest indication in these previous days, it has announced that the expansion of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be released on April 25being this an announcement that has been given during this past dawn and that will receive the name of Future Redeemed.
It should be noted that, contrary to what happened with Torna, it seems that on this occasion there will be no release in physical formatso if you want to get hold of it, you will necessarily have to have the base game and go to the Nintendo eShop. Likewise, a new trailer for this DLC has been released, although it should be noted that it has so many spoilers that if you haven’t played the game yet, it’s recommended that you don’t see it for now. In any case, you have it here:
