It’s been a couple of weeks since the Xbox Games Showcase that left great news for users of the Microsoft video game ecosystem, but it seems that there is still more good news on the horizon. And it is that with the launch schedule for 2023 already clear and with next year’s being configured little by little, now the head of Xbox has offered more details about it.
And it is that in a recent interview granted to the Japanese portal Famitsu (via klobrille), Phil Spencer has confirmed that Xbox will have more exclusives in 2024 not yet announced. He has done so with some statements that have filled fans with optimism considering that during the Xbox Games Showcase two great titles for next year were already confirmed.
Xbox will have more exclusives in 2024 not yet announced
These have been the words from Phil Spencer about it:
“For our first-party game list for next year we already have some games revealed, and there are some other games that have not been announced yet.”
As it is, and in the words of Phil Spencer, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Avowed won’t be the only ones great Xbox exclusives in 2024. Both titles confirmed their launch for that year at the Xbox Games Showcase, but a few weeks ago the CEO of Xbox already indicated that now they were ready to launch a great exclusive per quarter per year.
For the moment, in 2023 the predictions have been fulfilled after having Hi-Fi Rush, Redfall and upcoming releases Starfield and Forza Motorsport. The intention of the Redmond company is that this fact become a trend and it can be a reality every year. That’s why Xbox should announce at least two more first-party games to complete the 2024 release schedule. There’s a long time until we get there, so it’s completely doable.
Avowed will be bigger than other Obsidian Entertainment games, and will offer everything we can expect from an RPG.
