The title will be released in just over a month.
The Resident Evil 4 remake is close to reaching stores around the world, this being a title that was announced last summer as one of the most anticipated remakes by fans of Capcom’s quintessential survival horror saga, so it is completely normal that the Japanese company is already in full promotion of its star video game, as we could see with the 12-minute gameplay published at the beginning of this same month.
Given this, it must be said that at the moment we do not know too much about the title around the novelties and details that it will bring with itAlthough we recently learned that the Resident Evil 4 remake will bring changes to its mechanics and side missions, which will undoubtedly be an incentive for fans. However, it seems that an interview with those responsible for the game has revealed more details about it:
Resident Evil 4 Remake will have Photo Mode and New Game + from launch without the need to wait for a later update
Through an interview with Game Informer, a medium that has also published a video of it and that you can see below these lines, the co-directors of Resident Evil 4 Remake, Yasuhiro Ampo and Kazunori Kadoi, have revealed enough information about the titlestarting with the fact that this will have a New Game + and with Photo Mode at the time of launch, so you won’t have to wait for a later update as other contemporary video games do.
On the other hand, the controls will be similar to those of the remakes prior to the franchise. Of course, both directors affirm that this will only be applicable to the two previous remade titles, since this will not happen with the original title. Likewise, the changes with respect to the original title also imply that the town is much bigger nowalthough without actually specifying what its extension is.
For the rest, it only remains to mention that Resident Evil 4 remake will hit stores around the world next March 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4 and PCIt is a complete mystery whether or not the title will finally have a version for Microsoft’s previous generation console, which has been left out without apparent explanation.
