The Expansion Pass will be released twice in Fall and Winter 2023.
After a long wait, we have been able to see how today’s Nintendo Direct is being broadcast, thus giving rise to this event starting in style with a new look at Pokémon Scarlet and Purpletitles that have been shown in all their glory, specifically in their expansion pass coming later this year in two different batches.
In this way, we have been able to see that in the trailer shown the new Pokémon that will be the main protagonists have come out in-game, these being Munkidori, Okidogi, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon and Terapagos. Likewise, a large number of known Pokémon have been revealed for the first time in the Nintendo Switch games, which is equivalent to the return of creatures like Snorlax, Seel, Zebstrika Poochyenaamong many others that would apparently expand the Pokédex shown in the base games.
The expansion pass of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple maintains its release dates
It should be noted that during the same trailer we have been able to see that Pokémon Scarlet and Purple will take us to two different areas to those known to date, although it is unknown if the maps of both will be as wide as that of Paldea or if they will be reduced versions more similar to what is seen in Pokémon Sword and Shield with The Isle of Armor and the Snows of the Crown.
Be that as it may, this will be something we know in more detail over time, as surprisingly this trailer has come no definite release date in neither of the two batches, thus maintaining the launch for fall and winter 2023. You can take a look at the progress below:
Likewise, along with all this information, it has also been confirmed that there will be a Gimmighoul teraid event until July 2, 2023being this one quite special if we take into account that it will be the first opportunity to be able to get this Pokémon and its evolution in its shiny / variocolor version. In this way, seeing the new titles that we are seeing in the Nintendo Direct, it will be necessary to see if the appearance of this trailer of Pokémon implies the imminent arrival of a Pokémon Presents.
