One of the video games that has impacted us the most of all those that have gone on sale so far in 2023 has been Hogwarts Legacy, the excellent title based on the Harry Potter universe that, unfortunately, has not been without its problems. , as can be seen in the last update published by Avalanche Software.
More than anything because in it we can see that they have applied over a hundred fixes in the three versions available in stores. All these fixes are intended to solve problems that have been detected in the missions, in the sound, in the interface, in the cinematics and, incidentally, serves to further improve performance at a general level.
The list is considerably huge and you can see all these changes in the patch notes for the PC version or also in this other list focused on the fixes of the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions. Even so, we are going to detail some of the most significant changes that have been made in this latest patch:
- Fixed an issue that caused the flying mount from the DLC to disappear during a mission.
- Fixed an issue where waypoints were located in the air and not on the ground in Hogsmeade.
- Fixed an issue that was removing the exit indication on some Hogwarts doors.
- Fixed a bug where shields were incorrectly displayed during certain missions.
- Fixed a bug that was removing character hair.
- Fixed the rattling sound on cliffs depending on how close the characters are.
- Fixed the difference between the face of the female characters and the preview in the creation section.
- Fixed incorrect display of controller icons in the UI depending on the controller used.
- Facial animations in cutscenes have been improved.
- Ray-tracing stability and performance has been improved.
- Fixed lip sync with original sound (PS5).
- Fidelity Mode performance has been improved to go at a constant 30fps (Xbox Series)
This is nothing more than a small part of everything that has been modified in Hogwarts Legacy in order to make your exciting journey in its Magical World even more satisfying. That’s not to say it’s the only versions he’s paying attention to, as he’s recently pushed back its release on PS4 and Xbox One to May 5 to get the best possible experience.
