Starfield It’s one of the games most anticipated by PlayStation players, but they won’t be able to enjoy it on their consoles because Microsoft bought Bethesda a couple of years ago. Faced with this situation, a player has started a petition on Change.org to demand that Starfield be a PS5 exclusive. The petition, created by Benjamin Dickeyreveals the wishes of many PlayStation players to have this game on their platform. Starfield has generated a lot of expectation after the Starfield Directwhich improved the image of the game a few months after its release.
The petition starts with a true statement: Bethesda games have been available on PlayStation consoles for over a decade, building a loyal fanbase on that platform. However, the author of the petition, Benjamin Dickey, does not offer strong or coherent arguments to support his claim that Starfield be a PS5 exclusive. Instead, he makes unsubstantiated claims such as Bethesda games perform better and sell more on PlayStation, without providing any corroborating evidence or sources.
Starfield is one of the most anticipated games for PlayStation players, as well as for Xbox users.
The same user makes a misspelling when writing the name of “Phill” Spencer, the head of Xbox, who he directly blames for taking Starfield away from PlayStation players, ignoring the fact that Microsoft acquired Bethesda legally and you have the right to decide the distribution of your games.
The request does not take into account that Bethesda has already apologized to PlayStation players who were disappointed by Starfield’s Xbox exclusivity. In addition, the petition contains insults and offenses against Xbox fans and some youtubers, even some that have nothing to do with video games. Nonetheless, the petition has gotten 1338 signatures up to the time of writing this article.
From Bethesda they compare Starfield with Red Dead Redemption 2. Do you think the game will meet those expectations?

People who sign a petition on Change.org can comment on why they do so. Normally this would be to support the cause being advocated, but oddly enough, most of the comments criticize the petition creator, telling him to “make a living” and laughing at the ridiculousness of his petition. It is not known if the request is serious or joking.but since it asks that Starfield be only for PlayStation, we can assume that it is about this very thing.
