Just a few hours ago we saw some images to the joy of the followers of The Witcher saga. Andrzej Sapkowski, author of the Geralt de Rivia novels, appeared at the CD Projekt RED offices fraternizing with the Polish company and leaving behind the quarrels of the past. Now, delving even deeper into that moment, we have learned that the The creator of The Witcher has participated in the capture of movements for the next project of CD Projekt. This is how he explained it on his Twitter account Fakes Forgeregular collaborator of those also responsible for Cyberpunk 2077.
“A few days ago, Mr. Andrzej Sapkowski visited CD Projekt RED, where participated in the motion capture recordings for the studio’s next production. He signed books in the saga, signed images, drank his coffee and left”, reads the Fakes Forge tweet, which is accompanied by the image that you can see just above these lines and which shows that the author of the adventures of Geralt de rivia has approached positions with CD Projekt even though his countenance looks as serious as usual.
Sapkowski’s bad relationship with CD Projekt in the past stems from the sale of the rights to make a video game of his saga of novels for a much lower price than the price that the franchise later reached thanks to the success of precisely those games. Subsequently CD Projekt financially compensated Sapkowski as a sign of goodwill, although the Polish writer had already disassociated himself from the studio’s projects due to creative differences long before. Now not only does it seem that the relationship has been restored, but we could even see Sapkowski in some future video game of the saga as a cameo.
