Valheim’s most recent update adds two levels of difficulty, this being the most outstanding implementation of the game and the one that probably has the most repercussions within the community. Its about patch 0.217.4, a number that constantly reminds us that this game is still in Early Access. This added content still needs to be tested in the Valheim public test, so bugs and balance issues should be common.
This patch has as main face to Hildir, Haldor’s sister, involved in the noble trade trade. It seems that she is she will have problems with her merchandise, scattered along the way, so the first thing she will do is ask us for a helping hand. By completing her mission, we will have a new merchant and a new location available.
Valheim adds two difficulty levels to better accommodate player needs
If we dig a little deeper into the Valheim patch notes, where they don’t cut themselves short on spoilers, they mention all the upcoming additions. The new merchant Hildir will have her specialty working with fabrics, so a good part of the content will be devoted to it. there will be a good amount of new clothes: 10 hats, scarves and 14 dresses and tunics.
There will also be new hairdressing options, with up to 8 new hairstyles and 5 beard styles. The distinction in hair and facial hair will be more noticeable thanks to an update to all helmets in the game. All the improvements in the quality of life of the game and in the customization sections attend to the new star addition: the difficulty selection. There is now an easy mode, which will be the favorite for those who do not want to spend a lot of time fighting. Likewise, there is a difficult mode for natural fighters, who seek a greater challenge in this section.
Remember that Valheim is available on Steam and in the Xbox consoles, being this popular video game, for practical purposes, a console exclusivity. And that’s not all, since Valheim is part of the Microsoft subscription service game library, Game Pass, for both PC and consoles.
