Discover what are the worst paradox forms that we will find in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple.
Pokémon Scarlet and Purple have been two titles that, as has happened with previous generations, have been in charge of make pokemon lore grow with new creatures, thereby giving rise to the fact that we have had new regional formsas well as new evolutions of Pokémon already known without forgetting the fake pokemonbeing these Pokémon like Wiglett that although they are reminiscent of other already known species, are not regional forms.
However, it is clear that if there is a new group that has transcended more than any other in the ninth generation, those have undoubtedly been the forms paradoxof which it must be said that they are variants of already known pokemonbut they occupy their own space in the Pokédex in much the same way as seen with Ultra Beasts.
Paradox shapes are divided according to whether they are from the past or future into Scarlet and Purple respectively.
In this way, it must be said that this small group of Pokémon has already had the tops of the best paradox forms of the future that can be found in Pokémon Purple, in the same way that the top corresponding to the best forms has also been made. Paradox of the Past found in Pokémon Scarlet. However, in this case we can see that six pokemon were left out.
And it is right here where we are now going to focus on the opposite side, since it is time to talk about the Worst Paradox Forms in Pokemon Scarlet and Purplebeing so that in this case we will unite the two groups that exist because alone they could not make a top 5. Likewise, despite not being included in their corresponding tops, it goes without saying that Koraidon and Miraidon will not be here either because they are not only excluded because they are legendary, but also because they are of the best pokemon of the ninth generation. With that said, let’s go with the top 5.
Pelarena
The first member of this top is Magneton’s paradox formbeing so that with Pelarena we find a Pokémon that is characterized by being of the Electric / Ground type, which makes it lose the weakness by 4 to this last type, at the same time that it has a good Special Attack and a decent Speed.
However, the problem comes when we see that the rest of his stats are average, to the point that its high Special Attack is not greatly benefited due to its Speed not allowing it to show off at all. To this we must add that although it may have a role setting traps in the opponent’s field like Spikes or Rock Trap, it doesn’t have enough Defense or HP to withstand more than one hit that allows it to let its mane down.
Of course, it cannot be said that Pelarena is really a bad Pokémon, it is simply one more and which, despite its curious combination of types, does not finish shining as it should.
Mushroomfur
In case of Furioseta is the oppositesince although it has higher statistics in Attack and HP, we can see that its x4 weakness to the Bug type makes it a easy target before the excessive use of Ida and Vueltawhich is also not helped too much by his Speed, which is one of the lowest among the paradox forms.
This implies that he will almost always attack last, although if the Trick Room is active it can surprise the opponent a few times. However, he does not save him too much from burning, since the role he usually has is that of his counterpart with Spores and Drains, but he lacks the necessary defenses how to do the same In fact, the loss of Rage Dust and Regeneration doesn’t leave him in a very good light.
However, one of the worst things that Furioseta has is the fact of being a Pokémon whose ability makes it improve when the sun is activethis being something that while it might seem good, it is not at all, since its Grass type makes it more vulnerable to Fire-type moves boosted by this weather.
ironneck
In some way, Ferrocuello is the future version of Pelarenasince here we find a Pokémon with a high Special Attack, decent Speed and with the rest of its statistics pulling normal, being, like the previous two, a Pokémon that is not bad at all, but does not stop standing out above others that do the same, but better.
Likewise, similar to what happens with Furioseta, it has the disadvantage of being a Pokémon that benefits from the Electric Field, this being one that improves moves of the mentioned type, to which Ferroneck are weak. And while its Speed would allow it to get ahead of them and use Living Ground, the reality is that many electric Pokémon are characterized by their high Speed such as Raichu and Jolteon, so it would be too late.
It is curious to say the least that in the generation in which Hydreigon has been reborn in style we have discovered that his paradox form doesn’t stand out at all, especially when we consider that his type combination is quite good with two immunities (Ground and Psychic), but not enough to make him shine, since the best thing a Flying-type learns is Galewhich is 70% accurate.
little tail
There have been some doubts about the Pokémon that deserved the first place, so finally Colagrito gets the silver medal being a Pokémon with an incredible Special Defense that accompanies its HP and Speed, but that is limited only to this. And it is that, for some strange reason, when a Pokémon should be fast to attack, in Game Freak they have decided to give Colagrito a support role.
This causes that its only use is use Again and Thunder Wave, which could put the opponent in a bind, just like Wish can help predict big damage, but to be clear, it’s wasteful. If he could at least use Psycharge or Magical Glow he could be a threat, but his Special Attack and Physical Attack have 65 base points. In other words, Pokémon statistics in its first phase.
For all these reasons, we can only say that Colagrito is a missed opportunity to redeem Jigglypuff’s evolutionary chain, which has never been characterized as especially good to the point that Wigglytuff is considered one of the worst Pokémon of the first generation. It will have to be next time.
iron barbs
It seems incredible that we have in first place the paradox form of tyranitarbut the reality is that this Pokémon does not end up standing out as its current counterpart at all, since although with Dragon Dance it can surprise, that combination of Rock / Electric types forces it to carry equipped Helium balloon to avoid for at least one turn Ground-type moves that could take it down in one hit.
However, this does not end here, since the problem is that it has a monumental Attack, but without taking advantage of it at all, since, in fact, the biggest obstacle of Ironquills is found in the fact that it is an Electric type, what forces you to carry cruel volt as a star move, which, to be clear, is not the best move at all, being in fact a watered-down version of other very good ones like Fire Push, Fixed Double, Water Push, and so on.
And it is that what makes Ferropúas take this position is due to the fact that at least Colagrito could already imagine that it was bad, but in the case of this paradoxical form, anyone could think that it would make the rival teams tremble, because, after all, Tyranitar is the best Rock-type Pokémon ever still with a x4 weakness. However, as with the previous one, and just as it happened with its Mega evolution, we return to stay halfway and make it clear that the original is the best without more.
