Hogwarts common rooms seem to have become too small for so many students.
Hogwarts Legacy is a fantastic representation of the magical universe of Harry Potterjust what the fans of the most famous magician in the world have been asking Warner Bros Games for years, although the Avalanche game also has some narrative inconsistencies. Beyond the game’s own story and its mechanics, the truth is that Hogwarts Legacy has a script hole related to the beds of the game and the number of students in the school.
The point is that not enough beds in the common rooms to accommodate all Hogwarts students, or at least that’s the impression it gives. whatWhere do all those students go at night?? Will any of the game updates fix this design flaw?
hogwarts stays small
If you’ve ever played Hogwarts Legacy and walked around the dormitories in one of the common rooms, it’s obvious that there seem to be very few beds for so many students who are seen hanging around the castle, a reflection that one of the users of the Reddit forums has wanted to share with the community and has resulted in a most entertaining conversation.
“I was freely wandering around the common room when I realized that the average number of NPCs in the Great Hall It seems taller than the rooms can support, even if you put all 4 houses together. And that’s just one part of Hogwarts, the whole castle seems very densely populatedat any given time (except at night)”, says this user.
“Lol, the game is so dedicated to the source material that they even portray the creator’s inability to perform some basic math operations“, he jokes about JK Rwoling, writer of the Harry Potter novels on which Hogwarts Legacy is based.
So, the number of student NPCs far outweighs the actual beds, right?

While some users point out that there may be other bedrooms that are not seen in the juice or some type of space magicas in that Harry Potter tent, other users have set out to uncover all those Hogwarts inconsistencies if it were a real school.
“I never understood why Hogwarts was so big and yet apparently only had a couple hundred students. I’m talking about wasted space. heating bills they must also have been astronomical. If that place ran with a normal economy, it would have been broke for the summer vacation,” jokes one user. “But in any case, the protagonist does not sleepso I’ll assume the other students don’t sleep either,” adds another.
It is true that at the narrative level, Hogwarts Legacy has some script holes considerable, like that of throwing unforgivable curses together with the school teachers and that nothing happens, but in any case, the Avalanche and Warner Bros. game has managed to be a real success among the fan community. Hogwars Legacy is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with Nintendo Switch coming soon.
