Starfield will show us the relationships with the NPCs like we’ve never seen before in any other RPG-style game that has characterized Bethesda so much over the years. Since Skyrim we have not experienced anything even similar in terms of the feeling that exists in the entire communityand this is partly due to hype that Bethesda itself is creating around Starfield.
After the Starfield Direct a few days ago we saw that the great Bethesda project, the most ambitious to date, is following a good path. According to Todd’s own words, collected by GamesRadar, our character’s romantic interests will be very elaborate and will go beyond a simple choice.
Starfield will show us the relationships with the NPCs from sections such as temporality, our attitudes and the type of preferences of each character
This can lead to relationships between characters much more complex and deep, and they will not be based simply on a mere decision of the moment. The number of RPG titles that have been able to offer us relationships with other peers is overwhelming.
Todd Howard boasts about the character creation options in Starfield: “people want to role-play”

However, Starfield seems to follow another trend and will bet on building complex relationships, mainly with 4 key companions for the plot. The attitude they will have towards us will vary depending on their own interests and the attitude we take in certain situations.
Given this premise, it seems that we will not see anything out of the ordinary, but the crux of the matter here lies in the complexity of how these relationships will be structured. In fact some of our decisions will have a temporary impact in the affinity that we have with our companions, as it usually happens in real life.
These attitudes may cause such temporary changes, or if they are negative and repeated throughout the game, can lead to the end of the relationship with our partners. Either way, we’ll find out as soon as we get to play Bethesda’s next great gem on September 6.
