We'll start with probably the most harmless lie we can experience in the world of trailers. There's nothing wrong with the fact that sometimes the creators of the trailers adjust accordingly so that they didn't reveal bits of the story or leave fans speculating over what they just saw. Marvel, for example, became famous for this practice. However, this is rarely seen in the video game world. And the shock was even greater when we learned that the trailer for the sequel to the post-apocalyptic The Last of Us actually lied to us the whole time. We knew that we would be playing as Ellie in The Last of Us 2 months in advance, so the question remained what would actually happen to Joel, the protagonist of the first part. After that appeared in one of the trailers, all the fans were relieved and part of them hoped that we would play for him in the next installment. But… it all turned out a little differently. That scene from the trailer did appear in the final game, but we were surprised by Jesse instead of Joel. And Joel? For this, the developers have prepared a slightly different story.
