Few dare to question that Vampire Survivors It was one of the great games of the past 2022 despite being an indie in the strictest sense of the word. Poncle’s title became a success (first in early access on Steam and then on Xbox) with a proposal that was as simple as it was effective: kill thousands of enemies while trying to survive for thirty minutes.
Now, the video game created by Luca Galante is preparing to take a new leap forward and continue giving joy to the fans who have been able to acquire it for its ridiculous price of five or even less euros. And we have known that Vampire Survivors will add cooperative for up to four players in its next big update.

Vampire Survivors will add cooperative for up to four players
Yesterday Vampire Survivors made an appearance at the Nintendo Direct to confirm its launch on Switch as well. That was the perfect setting to announce the couch co-op (as defined by Poncle) for all versions of the game. will be the 17 of August when this amazing and unexpected update hits Vampire Survivors to deliver a whole new experience.
As it is, it will be a old school cooperative multiplayer, only to enjoy up to four players from the same console or PC and not online. This approach may not suit all players, but it was a mod we weren’t expecting in any way either, so this is very positive news.
Although for the moment Poncle has not delved into what the addition of more players to the games will mean, it is to be expected that the enemies get tougher and tougher As more users join, Vampire Survivors is balanced to be enjoyed by a single player. Be that as it may, what is clear is that one of the best indies of 2022 continues to reap good news thanks to the success it has had among thousands and thousands of people around the world.
